What has changed in the car business in the last 24 months?

The automotive industry has changed a lot in the last 24 months. Some of these changes were for the better. Others posed challenges. In either regard, auto dealers around the country have been scrambling to adjust to the new norm. In order to best understand how these changes have impacted the industry, MAX Digital's Tim Scoutelas sat down with Julia Easter and Matt Gibson from the Customer Success Team to get their feedback on how dealerships are adjusting.

All in all, there were a lot of bumps in the road. 2020 brought on some unexpected changes. In 2021, these changes were only amplified. As a result, dealerships had to get creative in how they acquired inventory. This was especially true for smaller lots that only have one or two rooftops. From buying from the service lane to putting up billboards, dealers have really begun to think outside the box. On top of that, social media has only accelerated this push for more creative ways to source.
